One of the Gunners’ key players has confirmed that talks are going on over a possible new deal for him to remain at the club.
Unai Emery is currently preparing his squad for the start of the 2018/19 season, which will see him go through his first campaign after replacing Arsene Wenger just over two months ago.
The new Arsenal manager has been keen on rewarding certain players with new deals to remain at the Emirates stadium.
Aaron Ramsey is certainly one of the key stars whom Emery will be interested to keep at Arsenal.
And according to the 27-year-old, who is currently pocketing £110,000-a-week in wages, the club is in fact holding talks over what could be a new contract for him in north London.
“We’ll see what happens, but my agent and the club are talking,” Ramsey said
Despite confirming talks with Arsenal, Ramsey did go on to reveal that the two parties are yet to reach an agreement over a deal.
“I’m not sure exactly what it hinges on, I’m just leaving it to them to discuss and to figure it out but we are yet to come to an agreement” he added
