According to Arsenal’s beloved Cesc Fabregas, it would be quite out-of-mind to move to East Lands just because of material desires.

That was the latest fabricated talks prepared for January, but Manchester City will now have to look elsewhere as the playmaker is not intending to answer their offers.

City were the subject of a £210 million takeover by the Abu Dhabi United Group on Monday, the same day that they recruited Brazil international Robinho from Real Madrid for a club-record of £32.4m.

And the club have subsequently been linked with a host of other top internationals, including Ruud van Nistelrooy, Fernando Torres, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gianluigi Buffon.

However, 21-year old Fabregas has vowed to remain in north London for the foreseeable future at least and reject any overtures that may happen to come his way from the City of Manchester stadium

“It would be suicidal for my career at my 21 years of age to move to City,” said Fabregas, who was away on international duty with Spain.

It would make no sense.”

With even Real Madrid turned down, inevitable success on the pitch could make Cesc a long Arsenal hero.
