At the final whistle on Saturday, you had to agree that Mikel Arteta was the most relieved man at Selhurst Park.
After stepping up to put the Gunners a goal ahead from the spot, Arteta almost went from hero to zero after his red card for a tangle with Marouane Chamakh nearly saw Arsenal let the three points slip as Crystal Palace fought back.
But following the victory which was sealed by Olivier Giroud’s late goal, Arteta reflected on what he felt was a ‘harsh’ decision by referee Chris Foy.
