Good news on Laurent Koscielny
The Frenchman has been recently sidelined through a calf problem but after easing fears over Koscielny’s fitness last week, Arsene Wenger has now revealed that his vital defender could return to action after Christmas.
Koscielny was last included in an Arsenal squad during the 3-2 defeat at Stoke City where he was an unused substitute.
But there is reason to be optimistic now according to Wenger who claims that the 29-year-old could be named in the team to visit West Ham on Sunday.
“They (injured players) are all out (for QPR on Friday). The closest at the moment is Koscielny.” Wenger said.
“I believe he is a bit short for Friday, maybe has a chance for Sunday.”
