Thomas Muller has expressed Bayern Munich’s ruthless intentions ahead of next week’s trip to the Emirates stadium.

Arsenal will host the German champions in the first of back-to-back Champions League clashes with Bayern on Tuesday.

The Gunners are currently bottom of Group F after unexpected defeats to Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos in the opening two games.

Arsene Wenger’s men now face the crunch task of defeating Europe’s most in-form side to maintain any hopes of remaining in the competition.

But as if the form of Robert Lewandowski was not enough of a warning, Thomas Muller decided to make the Bayern threat clear to Mesut Ozil on the Arsenal midfielder’s birthday.

Pep Guardiola’s side have won 3-1 and 2-0 in their last two visits to north London.
