Reports are emerging that Alexis Sanchez is nearing a quick recovery from injury with next week his target.

A hamstring injury forced the 26-year-old to limp-off during the second-half of Arsenal’s 1-1 draw at Norwich City recently.

Sanchez, who had played more games than any other Arsenal player in 2015, was allowed to fly back for more treatment in his homeland Chile last week.

However, after less than two weeks out, the energetic winger is now on course for a return to action despite what appeared to be a concerning hamstring injury.

According to a report from Soy Chile, Sanchez could be declared fit to resume training as early as next week after making progress over the past couple of days.

Should the former Barcelona star return to London in time, he could be in contention for Arsenal’s Monday night showdown with Manchester City on December 21.
