Mohamed Elneny has been an Arsenal player for a couple of days now and he is still in awe of his new home.

Dealing with the absence of Francis Coquelin, the Gunners were desperate for a combative midfielder but the Egyptian has made it clear he was desperate as well to join the club.

After sealing a move which will see him earn £60,000-a-week at one of the world’s biggest football clubs, Elneny has taken to social media to thank the man who played a vital role in negotiating that £10million transfer from Basel.

“My Agent Alan Nazmy thanks my friend” the 23-year-old said on Friday.

Alan Nazmy has represented Elneny for much of his career, engineering the youngster’s move to Switzerland three years ago.
