Dortmund have reportedly declined an enquiry from Arsenal over the possible signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Arsene Wenger, who is saying goodbye to at least three midfielders this summer, has been linked with a move for the 27-year-old after the imminent addition of Granit Xhaka.

However, according to the Express, Arsenal officials have been told by Dortmund that Mkhitaryan will not be sold at any price after the Gunners offered a transfer proposal last week.

Following the potential sale of Mats Hummels to rivals Bayern Munich and with İlkay Gündoğan now bound for Manchester City, the Bundesliga side are not intent on losing any more stars.

Mkhitaryan’s current contract at the Westfalenstadion runs until the summer of 2017, when he will be eligible to move to another club as a free agent.

The captain of the Armenia national team scored 11 goals and recorded 18 assists in 31 appearances for Dortmund this season.
