Gnabry and Asano both score at Brazil Olympics
Two of Arsenal’s youngsters were in goal-scoring form for their country on Thursday as the football part of the 2016 Olympic games kicked off.
While Arsene Wenger and the rest of his first team squad prepare for Friday’s pre-season friendly against Viking FK, some Arsenal stars are in Brazil to represent their country.
Despite being left out of Germany’s starting line-up, Serge Gnabry came off the bench to score with a cool finish as they fought back to secure a 2-2 draw against Mexico.

A few hours later, new Arsenal signing Takuma Asano followed the footsteps of Gnabry by making his impact as a substitute in Japan’s 5-4 defeat to Nigeria after a thrilling affair.
