Arsenal’s first signing of the summer has spoken about how the move which has landed him in the Premier League.

Arsene Wenger secured the signing of Granit Xhaka to improve his options in midfield after the departures of Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky.

Despite being expected to be one of the first names on the Arsenal team sheet, it has taken an injury to Francis Coquelin for Xhaka to grab a regular place in the starting eleven.

However, the 24-year-old insists he is still pleased with life at the Emirates stadium so far.

“I’m really enjoying it here” he told a Twitter Q&A.

“Everything goes as planned, and things are really well planned here, regardless of if we are playing home or away.

“You can see it’s a club with a lot of class and that shows with everything.

“I’m very proud to play for such a club, to be a Gunner. That makes me doubly proud to have joined this team. It’s the perfect path.”
