Injury Update on Debuchy, Walcott, Perez and Cazorla
Arsenal made their final pre-match preparations for the clash with Paris Saint Germain this morning.
And below is an update on the status of players with fitness uncertainties ahead of the affair with the Ligue 1 champions.
The 31-year-old is still stuggling to recover from an Achilles problem after admitting he “does not know” when he will be back.
Cazorla is currently in Spain to see a specialist over the niggling problem and therefore, he will not play a part in the upcoming matches against PSG and Bournemouth.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Perez was able to resume training on Tuesday after receiving successful treatment at his former club Deportivo La Coruna.
“He’s back in training already, but not with the squad. He’s ahead of schedule, yes.” the Arsenal boss said
The right-back is being picked by many to feature against PSG with Hector Bellerin sidelined and Carl Jenkinson in relatively convincing form. Debuchy made his return from injury last Friday but he is only expected to make the bench tomorrow.
Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey
Wenger has also revealed that there was a slight cocnern over Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey but the duo are unlikely to be sidelined.
“We left Walcott and Ramsey on recovery but they should be alright for tomorrow.” the Frenchman added
