‘He’ll never be good enough for Arsenal’ – Twitter attacks 24-year-old after Wednesday’s performance
It is safe to say the ratings for several Arsenal players were certainly not high following this week’s Champions League affair.
The Gunners are bracing themselves for yet another tough opponent in the round of 16 of Europe’s elite club competition after failing to clinch first place in the group stage this year.
That is the consequence of another forgettable display which saw Arsene Wenger’s men record their third straight draw in all competitions against Paris Saint-Germain.
On Wednesday night, Arsenal continued to deal with life without injured star Hector Bellerin who will not be back until this time next month at least.
The Spaniard’s deputy Carl Jenkinson was once again denied the opportunity to see out the entire 90 minutes as Wenger replaced him with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the dying minutes.
And here were the thoughts of a few fans on Jenkinson’s performance…
Jenkinson should be aiming his crosses at Giroud not Dave, 54, alcoholic from Luton in the stand.

Jenkinson will never be good enough for Arsenal. He's too tall and lanky, no pace and just all round rubbish. If Debuchy isn't fit play Gab.

Jenkinson coming in for Bellerin is equivalent to Vince Vaughn replacing Matthew McConaughey in True Detective.

Jenkinson is getting closer to André Santos's level. Some performance
