Key Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has given a welcome update on his condition with the end November approaching.

The Spaniard has played an integral role in the run which has seen Arsenal remain unbeaten since the opening day of the season.

However, Bellerin ran out of luck earlier this month as he suffered an ankle injury through a tackle by Danny Rose during the dying minutes of the 1-1 draw with Tottenham.

The 21-year-old’s absence has seen Arsene Wenger struggle with options to use at right-back but Bellerin has revealed his return to action is just around the corner

“It’s going better than expected because it’s a pretty hard injury but, at the moment, it’s recovering really well.” Bellerin is quoted as saying by Daily Express

“I hope to be running by the end of this week or the beginning of next week and then we’ll just take it from there.”

The former Barcelona youngster’s importance to the Gunners was recognized last week as the club rewarded him with a new six-year contract and a significant pay rise.
