Gunners sent out club officials for defensive target
Arsene Wenger appears to have identified another defensive target according to reports from the past couple of days.
The Gunners enjoyed a busier than usual transfer window during last summer, as the total spending on five new players went beyond the $100 million mark.
And if the rumours which are now doing the rounds are anything to go by, Arsenal may be set for another summer of big spending.
Talk SPORT via France Football are claiming that the Gunners have moved into the race to secure the signing of Issa Diop.
The Toulouse defender has attracted the interest of several big clubs around Europe this season after a string of solid performances in Ligue 1.
And according to the report, Arsene Wenger recently sent out scouts to watch the 20-year-old in action in the 0-0 draw between Toulouse and Paris Saint Germain.
Diop, who prefers to be deployed at centre-back, is believed to be valued at $4.2 million.
