Arsenal finally make statement about reports that coach is leaving
Arsenal Football Club have moved to play down reports that a key member of the club’s coaching staff is on his way out.
With the Gunners currently struggling as they look to rescue their season after bowing out of the Champions League and dropping out of the Premier League’s top four, rumours have linked various names at the club with a departure this summer.
Earlier this week, reports suggested that Arsenal first team coach Boro Primorac was set for an exit after several years in north London.
The 62-year-old is known to be a long-time partner of Arsene Wenger and his departure would be a strong signal that Arsenal’s current manager is set to say goodbye as well.
However, the club has moved to deny any claims that Primorac is leaving, according to Sky Sports journalist Bryan Swanson.
Arsenal say claims Boro Primorac will leave as 1st team coach are 'wild speculation'. Say 'completely unaware' of any intention to quit.
