‘He should never play for Arsenal again’ – Twitter attacks Arsenal star after Liverpool show
Several Arsenal players have received heavy criticism for their performance against Liverpool on Saturday but one man is getting most of the blame.
Arsene Wenger made several changes to his starting line-up this weekend but he opted against dropping Francis Coquelin who has been bashed for his recent displays.
The French midfielder has been lauded in the past by fans after breaking into the first team during the 2014/15 season.
However, the 25-year-old appears to be struggling at the moment and matters did not get any better for him in the clash against Liverpool.
Coquelin played for only 45 minutes on Staurday before being replaced by Alexis Sanchez.
And here were the reactions from fans….
Remember when Arsenal fans booed Eboue and made him cry? We need to do that with Coquelin.

Coquelin should never play for Arsenal again.

Coquelin better pray Wenger never leaves. If a new manager comes, he'll be one of the first to be sold.

I'd swap coquelin for any starting midfielder from any top 6 side in any of the top 5 European leagues. Or for a handful of pocket lint.

BT keep mentioning the introduction of Sanchez being the difference but it's actually removing Coquelin from the middle of the park.
