Jose Mourinho has expressed his thoughts on how the managerial role at Arsenal will be handled in the near future.

Arsene Wenger is under more pressure than ever to bring his 21-year reign to an end following disappointing results in recent months.

And according to Mourinho, Arsenal will no longer be hiring long-term managers after the Frenchman leaves.

“I don’t think so. Wenger will be the last one.” the Manchester United boss was quoted as saying by The Sport Review

“When he leaves Arsenal, we won’t see again, in the decade that follows, a manager staying in the same club for more than seven Year, ok, maximum ten.

“It has become impossible. Not just because of the profile of the clubs but also because of the profile of the managers.

“I have doubts about the new generation of managers, about how they have been trained, their ability to integrate themselves into all aspects of a club. You are going to need personalities with enormous qualities.”
