Club ready to agree $25.5 million transfer deal with Arsenal – Sky Sports
The Gunners are set to receive a new opportunity to cash in on a player according to reports.
Following a forgettable 2016/17 campaign so far, several first team stars have been linked with a move away from the Emirates stadium this summer.
Olivier Giroud is one of the players who may be deemed as surplus to requirements with Arsene Wenger looking to rebuild his squad.
And according to Sky Sports, Olympique Marseille have shown an interest in signing the French striker.
Giroud has been in and out of the team this season, failing to cement a place in the starting eleven due to the form of Alexis Sanchez and the return of Danny Welbeck.
The report is indicating that Marseille are actually willing to offer a sum of $25.5 million (£20 million) for the 30-year-old.
Even so, Giroud signed a new contract at the club in January which will only expire in June 2020.
