Pictures: 23-year-old joins Arsenal first team training ahead of West Ham – Perhaps the man to replace Coquelin tomorrow
Arsene Wenger has welcomed one of his key stars back from a brief injury lay-off as the squad prepares for Wednesday’s clash with West Ham.
The Gunners have only won one of their last six games in the Premier League and that solitary victory came against Hull City at home.
Wenger’s men restored some pride on Sunday by holding Manchester City to a 2-2 draw even though their hopes of finishing in the top four are still in bad shape.
After returning from international duty with an injury, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could not play a part in last weekend’s affair.
However, the 23-year-old managed to participate in Tuesday morning’s training session ahead of the vital clash with West Ham.
