Thierry Henry reacts to news of two-year deal for Wenger
Thierry Henry has given his reaction to the news of Arsene Wenger agreeing to sign a new two-year extension to remain at Arsenal.
The Gunners boss could now take his reign at the club to 23 years despite strong protests from fans which had called for his departure this summer.
Wenger has left both fans and former players divided in opinion about whether he is still the right man to bring back Premier League titles to north London.
And Henry, who briefly worked as a member of the club’s youth team’s coaching staff after retirement, insists he always had a feeling that Arsenal would chose not to change managers after this season.
Here was the ex-Gunner’s interesting interview on Sky Sports where he expressed his thoughts on Wenger’s new deal.
