Arsenal enter talks with Bundesliga club over transfer of young striker
Arsene Wenger has reportedly allowed talks to begin over the departure of one of the club’s promising prospects.
The Arsenal manager’s last sale in the transfer market occurred nearly a year ago as Serge Gnabry joined Wolfsburg following his eye-catching displays at the Olympic games.
And according to reports from Thursday, the Gunners are about to do more business with the Bundesliga outfit this summer.
The Sun are claiming that Arsenal have now entered talks with Wolfsburg over the sale of highly-rated prospect Kaylen Hinds.
After spending the second-half of last season on loan at Stevenage, the 19-year-old striker is hunting for more first team opportunities elsewhere.
The report is indicating that Arsenal’s deal with the German club will be worth a cheap transfer fee of $2.6 million (£2 million).
Hinds’ proposed move is being engineered by Andries Jonker, the new head coach of Wolfsburg who previously worked at Arsenal as manager of the academy team.
