Alexandre Lacazette has revealed the options he had prior to his transfer move to Arsenal a couple of months ago.
The France international finally became an Arsenal player in early July following several months of speculation.
Lacazette has managed to make an encouraging start to life at the Emirates stadium, scoring four goals in the Premier League.
Even so, the 26-year-old has revealed that the Gunners were not his only option on the table before he made a decision over the transfer switch in the summer.
According to Lacazette, Paris Saint-Germain were also interested in his services but he chose to turn down a move there due to his allegiance to Lyon.
“We talked to PSG but I knew it was not where I wanted to go. In France, I would only play for Lyon,” Lacazette was quoted as saying by the Evening Standard
“PSG could have helped me progress because they of the big players they have but I wanted to play in another league.”
