Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil tweeted some good news for the Gunners fans on Wednesday, ahead of the World Cup kick off.
The 29-year-old is getting ready to feature at the World Cup for the third tournament in his career.
Towards the end of last season, Ozil was heavily criticized for not showing too much commitment to the Arsenal team which failed to finish in the top four of the Premier League for a second season in a row.
The former Real Madrid star spent a number of games out due to what some deemed as mysterious injuries because he was supposedly saving himself for the World Cup.
However, Ozil, a player who is pocketing £300,000-a-week wages, has been sweating over his fitness for Germany as well after suffering an injury in their recent international friendly.
The midfielder was deemed as a serious doubt for the Germans’ opening game of the World Cup but much to the delight of the Arsenal faithful, he is fit again…
