Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey took to Twitter to send out a message after watching his countrymen play on Thursday.
The former Cardiff City man is one of the longest serving players in the current Arsenal squad, following the departure of Theo Walcott during the January transfer window.
Ramsey has been in relatively impressive form for the Gunners this season when fit to play.
However, ahead of last week’s clash with AC Milan in the Europa League, it was confirmed by new Wales boss Ryan Giggs that the 27-year-old would be removed from the squad for the international break due to a ‘small procedure’ that he was set to undergo.
Ramsey could only watch on as Wales thrashed China 6-0 on Thursday – a game which saw Real Madrid star Gareth Bale score a hat-trick.
And following the final whistle, the midfielder took to social media to express his thoughts to the fans.
Gutted to not be over there with the boys but what a result and what an achievement for these 2 players @chrisgunter2 and @garethbale11 congratulations on your records ??? plenty more to come! pic.twitter.com/ApmaI3TMVw
