Several Arsenal fans expressed their delight with the performance of one of the Gunners’ key attackers on the night as they defeated Vitoria 3-2 on Thursday in a thriller at the Emirates stadium.

With the team suffering a defeat to Sheffield United on Monday evening, much of the Arsenal faithful were expecting an emphatic response against Vitoria in the Europa League a few days later.

However, much of the Emirates stadium crowd was left surprised by how the Gunners were tested by underdogs Vitoria, who managed to open the scoring very early in the game.

After Arsenal had tried and failed to find an equalizer in the first half, it was youngster Gabriel Martinelli who scored yet again to level the score.

Even though Vitoria reclaimed their lead which was later wiped out by a Nicolas Pepe brace, several Arsenal fans were left highly impressed by the efforts of Martinelli, who has continued his brilliant start to life in north London.
