‘Absolutely terrible’ – Some fans attack Arsenal star after 3-1 FA Cup loss

Some supporters took to social media to express their frustration over the performance of the man who was between the sticks for Arsenal against Manchester United.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery decided to make a number of changes to his starting eleven for Friday night’s clash with Manchester United at the Emirates stadium.

Bernd Leno, who kept a rare clean sheet in the 2-0 win over Chelsea, was rested as Petr Cech made a start for the first time since his retirement announcement.

The former Chelsea goalkeeper was criticised by many fans for not being in the right form last season as he conceded a lot of goals in a campaign which saw the Gunners finish well behind their top four rivals.

Cech was looking to help Arsenal put together another FA Cup after winning the competition almost two years ago.

However, the veteran shot-stopper had a night to forget as he conceded three times in another home defeat to Manchester United.
