Alexandre Lacazette posts a message after playing in Newcastle game
Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette has taken to social media to send out a message to the fans after the game against Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday.
Mike Arteta’s men were seeking their first victory in the Premier League since the 2-0 triumph over Manchester United at the start of January.
After the mid-season trip to Dubai, the Arsenal boss decided to sit out a couple of players as he rotated his starting eleven on Sunday.
Demoted to the bench was Alexandre Lacazette, a player who had not managed to score a goal since his effort in the defeat at home to Brighton in December.
The former Lyon star was handed a brief chance to end that run as he was introduced very late in the second half against Newcastle.
Not too long after coming on, Lacazette scored to help the Gunners wrap up an emphatic win over the Magpies.
And after the final whistle, the striker took to Twitter to send a message to the fans….
Missed that scoring feeling. Thank you to everyone for your support and celebrations, feels so good to back ⚽♣️❤9⃣ pic.twitter.com/oQ7NZ5DJUo
