‘Not even Silva can do that!’ – Twitter shocked by Arsenal star’s moments from Sunderland win
Hector Belelrin appears to have won more admirers after his display in Arsenal’s 3-1 FA Cup win over Sunderland.
Since deputizing for an injured Mathieu Debuchy last season, the Spaniard has become a revelation in Arsene Wenger’s side, winning the Catalan Young Player of the Year award and being nominated for the European Golden Boy accolade in 2015.
After remarkably setting up Mesut Ozil’s goal in the 2-0 win over Bayern Munich back in October, Bellerin repeated his heroics from the right flank on Saturday as Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud scored.
The 20-year-old’s trademark move of bullying defenders with his pace has received all sorts of reactions from social media including praises from rival fans.
Right back, Hector Bellerin has got more assists than Cesc Fabregas this season 😂😂😂😂

@GardenStGooners Bellerin proved today not only is he one of the best RB in the league, he's better than most wingers in attack.

Bellerin's second assist was so good, Silva couldn't play that pass

Bellerin is amazing! Barca calling!

If only Bellerin didn't look so poor at Norwich where he let Brady tear us apart then we might have won there and avoided some injuries

Bellerin still makes a few defensive mistakes and gives the ball away on occasion in his own half but he doesn't let that affect his game.
