Massimiliano Allegri speaks on Arsenal news on Sunday
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has responded to the latest reports which have suggested he is on the verge of a move to Arsenal.
Arsenal’s 3-1 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday has heaped more pressure on Arsene Wenger with his side now sitting outside the top four of the Premier League.
As a result, rumours have continued to suggest that the Frenchman is unlikely to remain at the Emirates stadium after this season.
Juventus boss Max Allegri has emerged as the favourite to become Arsenal’s next manager following reports that he has informed some of his friends about a move to England this summer.
More speculation on Saturday went on to claim that the 49-year-old had reached a verbal agreement with the Gunners over a managerial move.
However, when asked about the latest reports after his side’s 1-1 draw with Udinese on Sunday, Allegri maintained his reticent approach.
“The rumours from England are not true,” the manager of the Serie A giants said
“And I’m not the one to decide my future – Juventus will.
“And if these rumours were true, Juventus would be the first to know and I haven’t talked to Juventus yet.”
