Arsenal appear to have laid out their plans for a summer which could see significant changes made at the club.

The Gunners have faced severe scrutiny in the past two to three months after going from being Chelsea’s closest challengers in the title race to dropping out of the top four.

Arsene Wenger has shouldered a lot of the blame for the collapse which has seen the FA Cup become Arsenal’s only realistic chance of winning silverware this season.

And according to The Sun, the club has now made a bold move to begin talks with highly-rated tactician Massimiliano Allegri over replacing Wenger.

Allegri’s market value went up even higher this week as his Juventus side thrashed Barcelona 3-0 in the Champions League.

However, the Gunners appear to be hopeful of convincing the Italian to leave Serie A after reportedly holding talks with him over the past week.

Arsenal Supporters’ Trust made it clear on Tuesday that Wenger is yet to be offered a new contract
