Sanchez has broken silence on Arsenal future after Wembley win
Alexis Sanchez has provided a brief statement regarding how he will decide his future at Arsenal following Saturday’s 2-1 win over Chelsea.
The Chilean international was named Arsenal’s ‘Player of the Season’ ahead of this weekend’s cup final following his impressive displays over the course of the campaign.
However, Sanchez is yet to extend his contract at the club which will expire in a year, prompting more speculation that he will soon be making a departure.
And on the subject of what his next move will be after finishing the 2016/17 season with 30 goals, Sanchez has revealed his agent will be taking care of that.
“I don’t know my friend, finished now, so happy for the win and the FA Cup, happy for the players, now I don’t know,” the 28-year-old said
“My agent speaking after… I don’t know.
“Now, it’s the Confederations [Cup], now it’s focusing on the national team.”
Sanchez has been strongly linked with a move to Bayern Munich but reports from earlier this week suggested that the club had offered him an expensive new contract to convince him to stay.
