Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol has revealed what he knows in regards to Arsenal’s potential deal for Thomas Lemar.

Arsene Wenger has been linked with a move for a host players this summer, having secured the acquisitions of Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette thus far.

AS Monaco midfielder Lemar has been deemed as the Gunners boss’ next target after making a couple of bids which have been rejected by the French side.

And according to Solhekol, Monaco are unlikely to let go of the 21-year-old if more of their key players leave.

“Staying at Arsenal, and the latest on two of their targets – Thomas Lemar and Kylian Mbappe. Both of them played in Monaco’s friendly with PSV on Sunday.” he said

“Arsenal have had big bids for Lemar rejected and Arsene Wenget things Mbappe will stay at Monaco.”

“Arsenal are still trying for Lemar but the more players Monaco sell, the less likely this one looks.”
