Arsenal make €50 million offer to sign attacker and receive instant response from selling club
Arsene Wenger has made yet another offer for his main transfer target according to reports from France.
The Arsenal manager is preparing his squad for the Emirates Cup this weekend which will see them wrap up their pre-season activities ahead of the Community Shield clash with Chelsea.
Wenger is widely known to be in pursuit of AS Monaco star Thomas Lemar who has attracted the interest of several other big clubs.
Rumours earlier this week suggested that the Gunners were to make a third offer to sign the 21-year-old.
However, reports in France are now suggesting that the new €50 million bid has been turned down by the Ligue 1 side.
Monaco have rebuffed a €50m bid from Arsenal for Thomas Lemar this week, according to L'Équipe.
