Arsene Wenger is now on the brink of the sale of another member of the Arsenal first team squad according to emerging reports in the British media.

The Arsenal manager received severe criticism for how he handled his transfer business during last summer and there appears to be more disappointment on the way for fans.

Following the 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth in the Premier League, what has continued to dominate the headlines is the uncertain future of star man Alexis Sanchez.

According to the Daily Express, the Gunners are expected to reach an agreement with Manchester United over a transfer deal for the 29-year-old within the next 48 hours.

Sanchez was left out of the match-day squad for an Arsenal fixture for the second time in a row on Sunday as the team went on to lose 2-1 to Eddie Howe’s side.

The former Barcelona man has reportedly been offered a whopping sum of £350,000-a-week in wages, which has helped convince him to choose a move to Old Trafford.

Wenger admitted after the game at the Vitality stadium that the future of Sanchez would be decided within the next 48 hours and the reports are also suggesting that will be the waiting time frame for the Chilean’s move to United to be completed.
