Emerging reports have suggested that Arsenal are closing in on deals with two different clubs this week.

Arsene Wenger was not afraid to let go of a few players during the summer as the likes of Wojciech Szczesny, Joel Campbell and Jack Wilshere were all sent out on loan while Serge Gnabry was sold to Werder Bremen.

And only a week into the January transfer window, the Gunners manager appears to be keen on continuing that sort of business with two more players linked with a departure.

According to ESPN, Gedion Zelalem is on the brink of a permanent move to Borussia Dortmund since his contract at Arsenal, which will expire this summer, has not been renewed.

The report claims that the Bundesliga side is hopeful of securing the purchase of the American youngster for a cheap price and the 19-year-old is interested in moving to Germany as well.

The other Arsenal prospect on the way out is Jon Toral who is being pursued by Rangers, after his uninspiring loan spell at Granada.

Unlike Zelalem, only a loan move is being discussed for the Spaniard as Wenger confirmed over the weekend that a deal with the Scottish side could soon be wrapped up.
