Arsenal confirm injury news on 28-year-old star after international break
The Gunners have revealed the status of injured midfielder Aaron Ramsey after the international break which came to an end this week.
Unai Emery’s men were in great form prior to the international break as they climbed back into the top four of the Premier League before securing a spot in the next round of the Europa League.
One player who has played a vital part in Arsenal’s resurgence in recent weeks is Aaron Ramsey, as he sees out his final season at the Emirates stadium.
The 28-year-old, who has already agreed to join Italian giants Juventus in the summer, has continued to struggle with injury problems this season.
Ramsey suffered another injury during the international break and there had been worries over whether he was set for another long spell on the sidelines.
But ahead of the game against Newcastle in the league on Monday, Arsenal’s medical staff have confirmed that the midfielder has recovered from his thigh injury and returned to training.
“Left thigh. Back in full training ahead of Newcastle United (h).” the Gunners’ official website said in an update.
