Arsenal confirm player will miss next two games
Arsene Wenger has confirmed an injury concern ahead of this week’s upcoming fixtures in the League Cup and Premier League.
The Gunners will play two games in a week again after coming out of their trips to Paris Saint-Germain and Hull City with positive results.
However, there is hardly any positive news for Aaron Ramsey who has been sidelined for over a month now after suffering a hamstring injury on the opening day of the season.
According to Wenger, the Welshman, who was expected to be back in action by now, is taking a while to recover and will now miss both clashes against Nottingham Forest and Chelsea.
“He is still out – I don’t think he will be ready for the weekend either,” Wenger said in his pre-match press conference.
The Arsenal manager did go on to reveal that one of the players he lost to injury before the start of the season is on the verge of making a return on Tuesday.
“He [Gabriel] has a chance to play against Forest.” Wenger added
