The Gunners are expected to have a new bid for two players in a double transfer deal accepted as Unai Emery attempts to reshuffle his squad.

Arsenal made sure their deals for incoming players were all secured before preseason kicked off last summer and the same plan appears to be in place this year.

According to Italian source SampNews24 the Gunners are set to increase their bid for Sampdoria duo Joachim Andersen and Dennis Praet which will be accepted.

Arsenal are reportedly coming back with an offer of £44m for the pair in the coming hours after an initial £37m proposal was rejected by the Italian side.

The report claims that Sampdoria president Doriano Massimo Ferrero is ready to accept the new bid.

Andersen, a 23-year-old defender, has been tipped for the top after a breakthrough campaign in Serie A.

Praet, who is a 25-year-old, would come in as the man to replace the departing Aaron Ramsey.

Emery will be hoping to have gotten his hands on a similar piece of businness to Lucas Torreira, who arrived for a cheap fee last year before a fine debut campaign at the Emirates stadium.
