“Two points lost, gutted Giroud hit the crossbar”
Thanks to Arsenal Fan TV, we have been treated to some intriguing post-match reactions not from the manager, not from players but from Gooners like us this season.
And the latest of interviews features an analytical fan who lauded the performance from our defenders from Koscielny to Jenkinson after the 1-1 draw with Everton.
But following the concession of a stunning late equalizer only four minutes after taking the lead, Gooner ‘Mo’ could not help but label Saturday’s result as more of a loss than a gain.
Oh, and just listen to his response to the news of being pitted against Tottenham in the FA Cup third round.
I watched the game on tv in Penang Island.I had expected Everton not to be cavalier in attack. The gunners were undone by some fouls .I believe if the ref had dished out some cards earlier, the blues would not have been so brash in their tackles.
I believe the Everton goal could have prevented if Gibbs or another defender had moved to confront the blue. That they didn’t do so could be due to tiredness or simply Everton could not score.
Hopefully these guys will learn and play and be alert for 90min plus aet.
The gunners with lead of five points play MC .Hopefully the gunners can play for a draw.
