Lucas Perez is gradually receiving good ratings from the Arsenal faithful as he begins to enjoy more chances to impress at his new club.
The Spanish forward decided to leave Deportivo La Coruna for Arsenal just before the end of the summer transfer window after the Gunners had failed in attempts to sign a new centre-forward.
However, Perez has hardly been able to feature regularly for Arsene Wenger’s side despite scoring five goals already, including a hat-trick against Basel in the Champions League.
The 28-year-old was handed a rare start in the Premier League on Sunday as Arsenal welcomed Crystal Palace to the Emirates stadium.
Perez was in action for 70 minutes as the Gunners finished off Sam Allardyce’s men in a 2-0 victory courtesy of goals from Olivier Giroud and Alex Iwobi.
And here were the thoughts of some fans on the Spaniard’s performance….
That goal Giroud score last night started with Lucas Perez interception just outside Arsenal penalty box. He should start more

I think Perez has been an eye opener for Arsenal. His movement is something that we can hardly get from typical wingers like Walcott and Ox.

Perez reminds me of Podolski but just better with the link up play
