Arsenal have been deemed as firm favourites to secure the acquisition of one of Ligue 1’s most proficient talents.

The Gunners have begun their summer business with two high-profile new additions which have seen Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette move to the Emirates stadium.

And with the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil still seemingly reluctant to renew their contracts at the club, Wenger could set his sights on bringing in more attacking options.

AS Monaco star Thomas Lemar has been identified as the Arsenal boss’ next target after signing Lacazette earlier this week.

And according to Sky Bet, the Gunners are now 5/6 favourites ahead of Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur to sign the 21-year-old.

Lemar was in eye-catching form for the newly crowned French champions last season as they managed to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Reports from Friday suggested that Arsenal had agreed personal terms with the midfielder who is valued at around $103.1 million (£80 million) by Monaco.
