The Gunners have been handed a major boost on the fitness front, heading into this weekend’s fixture in the Premier League.
Arsene Wenger witnessed his side improve their chances of securing a spot in the 2018 League Cup final at Wembley by earning a 0-0 draw against Chelsea in the first leg of the semi-finals at Stamford Bridge.
However, that encouraging result came at a worrying cost as key midfielder Jack Wilshere had to be withdrawn for Mohamed Elneny in the second half.
The 26-year-old has been troubled by frequent injuries over the past five to six years and this has been his first season of consistent first team involvement in quite a while.
Therefore, many fans were understandably concerned about how much time Wilshere was set to spend on the sidelines after his new injury blow.
But heading into this weekend’s trip to Bournemouth, the midfielder has revealed that he will actually be back in action in only a few days.
