Arsenal hold ‘successful’ talks with 25-year-old ahead of feasible transfer move
Arsenal appear to be moving closer to securing a deal for one of their prime targets in the transfer market during this January transfer window.
Unai Emery did not make any signings to improve his attacking force during the summer but after watching his side struggle on certain occasions this season, he is now interested in bringing in an experienced winger.
Yannick Carrasco has been deemed as one of the Gunners’ main transfer targets at the moment and things are looking more and more encouraging over a deal possibly happening.
According to the Sun, Arsenal have now held ‘successful’ talks with the 25-year-old in regards to a move to the Emirates stadium.
The report is suggesting that the Gunners are prepared to make an official approach to sign Carrasco from Chinese side Dalian Yifang.
However, the former Atletico Madrid star is expected to accept a decrease in wages if his move to north London does occur.
