Arsenal Injury News – Nacho Monreal, Alexandre Lacazette and Santi Cazorla
The Gunners are now preparing for the most decisive stretch of the 2017/18 campaign and as usual, there are a few injury worries.
Arsene Wenger is currently facing severe scrutiny after a run of frustrating results from his side in all competitions for much of this season.
As usual, part of the Arsenal manager’s problems has been injuries to one or two key players as rivals Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester United continue to pull away in the race for a top four finish.
At the moment, the Gunners are missing a couple of important members of the first team squad.
Nacho Monreal recently joined Alexandre Lacazette on the sidelines after suffering an injury during the first half of the Carabao Cup final on Sunday while Santi Cazorla is yet to make an appearance for Arsenal since October 2016.
And ahead of this weekend’s clash with Brighton in the Premier League, British journalist Ben Dinnery has provided the latest on the condition of those players.
Nacho Monreal [back] is still missing and faces a race against time to feature in the Europa League in Milan on Thursday. No Lacazette or Santa Cazorla either this weekend. #AFC
