New Arsenal manager Unai Emery looks to have picked out another transfer target as he continues to put together his best squad for next season.

The former Paris Saint-Germain boss arrives at Arsenal with the same disciplined and organized style of play which saw him receive praises during his time in Spain.

Emery is believed to be intent on adding better defensive options to an Arsenal team which conceded the most goals out of all the top six Premier League sides last term.

Thus, according to the Daily Mirror, the Gunners would like to clinch the signing of Steven Nzonzi.

The 29-year-old, who is valued at £27million, was a key part of Emery’s Sevilla side from a few seasons ago which won several Europa League titles.

The Arsenal manager is apparently keen on reuniting with the midfielder who was constantly linked with a move to the Emirates stadium during the reign of Arsene Wenger.

Should Nzonzi join the Gunners, he is likely to take the place of Granit Xhaka in the holding midfield role.
