The Gunners have reportedly made a bold new offer to sign one of the French top-flight’s brightest talents.

New Arsenal manager Unai Emery has noticed that there is a need for options in attack, especially with Aaron Ramsey set to say goodbye to the club.

The Gunners are rumoured to be keeping an eye on a host of young attackers and Lille star Nicolas Pepe is believed to be one of them.

According to a report by TMW, Arsenal have made an offer of £45 millions (50 million euros) to land the services of the 23-year-old.

Emery’s pursuit of Pepe is believed to be due to the club’s failure to have a bid accepted for AS Roma star Cengiz Under.

Even though he has a contract with Lille which will not expire until 2022, Ivorian forward Pepe has not ruled out a move away from France to play for a bigger club.

Aaron Ramsey’s expected departure means Arsenal are being forced to move swiftly to find a replacement for the Welshman.
