And according to The Sun, the club has now made a bold move to begin talks with highly-rated tactician Massimiliano Allegri over replacing Wenger.
Allegri’s market value went up even higher this week as his Juventus side thrashed Barcelona 3-0 in the Champions League.
However, the Gunners appear to be hopeful of convincing the Italian to leave Serie A after reportedly holding talks with him over the past week.
