Arsenal are reportedly in talks over a potential deal for another attacker to add to the much-anticipated arrival of Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.
Arsene Wenger has so let go of the likes of Francis Coquelin, Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez, while bringing in the likes of Konstantinos Mavropanos and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
But with the Gunners’ first team options still heavily reduced, Wenger might not make the addition of Aubameyang his final move this month.
And according to reports, the Gunners have now re-entered the race for Lucas Moura after making contact with his representatives.
The 25-year-old’s agent is believed to be holding talks with Arsenal over a possible move to the Emirates stadium for the player.
That report will come as a concern for Spurs who were previously claimed to have reached an agreement with Lyon over a transfer deal worth around £25 million for the player.
The Paris Saint-Germain star has been linked with a move away from France after seeing his playing time limited this season due to the arrival of Neymar.
Moura has been claimed to be on the brink of a transfer to Tottenham over the past week but the switch has not been finalised just yet.
