Arsenal are said to have reached an agreement to secure the signing of another defender as the club plans a rebuilding project under Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners have been short of options in the left-back position ever since the exit of Nacho Monreal last summer, with the likes of Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney often struggling to stay fit this campaign.

Thus, the club has been keeping an eye on Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa, whom David Ornstein claimed this week that the Gunners were working on signing.

According to reputable French outlet France Football, Arsenal have now reached an agreement to sign the 27-year-old star on a five-year contract.

However, the same report suggests Kurzawa will not be moving to the Emirates stadium until this summer, when his contract with PSG expires.

France Football have also claimed that the Frenchman has turned down Inter Milan for the Gunners, who appear to be targeting affordable deals in the transfer market just like the Serie A side.
