Arsene Wenger appears to be considering a transfer move for one of his Premier League rivals’ out-of-favour players according to reports on Monday.
The Gunners are currently battling for a top four spot after an extremely erratic start to the 2016/17 season so far.
With Arsenal leaking an excessive amount of goals, especially away from home, Wenger has been urged to dip into the transfer market for some sort of solution.
And according to an exclusive report by the Express, the Gunners are actually looking to make a stunning move for Chelsea defender David Luiz in January.
The 30-year-old has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge in recent months with Antonio Conte choosing a different centre-back partnership.
Therefore, Arsenal are reportedly keen on taking advantage of the situation by making an offer for Luiz which would be worth £30million.
A move to sign the Brazilian star would come as a surprise for many Arsenal fans, two years after the club did business with Chelsea as Petr Cech moved to the Emirates stadium.
